27.11.2025. Five leading professionals from the hospitality and tourism sector will be in charge of evaluating the 12 finalist tapas of the 20th Lugo Tapas Competition this weekend. The event is organized by the Provincial Association of Hospitality and Tourism Entrepreneurs of Lugo (Apehl) with the sponsorship of the Lugo City Council.

25.11.2025. After counting the votes cast by the public, the Provincial Association of Hospitality and Tourism Entrepreneurs of Lugo (Apehl) revealed the twelve finalist establishments of the twentieth edition of the Lugo Tapas Contest:
A Laxa, Casa María, El Boni, El Dotmas Bar, Glam Taoo, O Figón, O Mercado, Orixe do Campo, Paprica, Pulpería O Castelo, San Marcos Café, and Tosar by Boni.

07.11.2025. Cheché Real, president of the Lugo Hospitality and Tourism Business Association (Apehl), and Maite Ferreiro, Lugo City Councilor for Culture and Tourism, accompanied by Daniel Romay and Juan Agra, members of Apehl’s board of directors, inaugurated the 20th edition of the Lugo Tapas Contest this morning at Paprica.

• The competition will take place from November 7 to 23, with the grand final scheduled for the 28th, 29th, and 30th of the same month.
