Apehl maintains full capacity on the second day of Marida Maio 2026

The southern delegation of the Provincial Association of Hospitality and Tourism Entrepreneurs of Lugo (Apehl) has just held the second wine-gastronomy-tourism day of the third edition of Marida Maio, an event sponsored by the Lugo Provincial Council. The continuation of the spring festival took place this Thursday, May 21, at the Ribeira Sacra Wine Centre in Monforte de Lemos and reached full capacity days in advance. The meeting that will close this cycle, scheduled for May 28, is also already at full capacity.
These meetings enable collaboration between organisations in the Ribeira Sacra area to showcase their services to attendees. Mainly wine-growing and hospitality-related, but also tourism and craft-related, companies from different sectors make proposals specially designed for the format with which to present the qualities of their products.
Starting at 7:30 p.m. and ending at 9:00 p.m., the second day featured the Monforte establishment Tributo Capitol, the wine companies Adegas Cruceiro and Alouviño, the craftswoman and owner of “En Lá”, Pilar Rodríguez and, through representatives of their work teams, the Lodeiro Museum and the Río Sil Catamaran. The event was enlivened by a live performance by soloist Isi Castañer.
The third edition of Marida Maio will be closed on May 28. The event, which will follow the same schedule, will include the caravan tourism project Barvantia, the guided-tour company Coureleando, the hotel-restaurant Hermida Rural and the wineries Os Cipreses and Instinto Romano.
The Monforte de Lemos Town Council and the Ribeira Sacra Wine Centre are also collaborating in this event.
